New Balance has gotten together with Tamiya, makes of the RC Toy Car we enjoyed in the past as kids. Despite being a very unusual collaboration, both brands made it work. They’ve decided to use the New Balance 574 model, a great choice. The 574 was inspired by the popular Dash-1 Emperor model Tamiya created.

The New Balance 574 wil include a orange leather upper, along with black, blue, and yellow found throughout the entire sneaker. The two brands also added star eyelets and the #49 embroidered onto the tongue of the sneaker. If you decide to pick-up a pair of the New Balance 574 you will also get two Dash-1 Emperor toys and a messenger bag produced by Porter, whom also collaborated with Tamiya.
