Ok so looking through the famous YouTube comes along this video of some kid showing off his “Fresh” new kicks. So he first sends a shout out to all his viewers and subscribers (all 6 of them) and then goes to show us his Air Jordan Six Rings and then a pair of Burberry Dunks and all through this he seems really proud of himself for getting these sneakers. I’m not sure if he knows this but they are both fake and most likely so is his hat, jeans and hoodies that he shows us. You can check out the video above which I got a pretty good laugh from and please please please if your going to become a sneaker head get educated.
In 2008 Supra definitely made itself known with some very nice releases. With such success in 2008 I have really been looking forward to seeing what they bring in 2009. They will be releasing three new colorways in their Skytop High series which include an all grey suede, bronze and a burgundy colorway. Nothing really amazing in this set but it’s still a good start to their 09 season.
New Balance starts of the year with their MT580 series that have been released in three colorways. Those colors include a neon blue, neon purple and neon yellow/green. All three sneakers are made with the famous GORE-TEX material so you know that these are some high quality shoes.All three are currently available at Mita sneakers if you want to pick them up. Over the past couple of months we have presented you with a new line up of Air Force Ones that featured an all white base color with a red, green, blue toebox that had elephant print on it. I considered all of them to be pretty ugly but this pair isn’t so bad. These feature a black base color with a white elephant print of the toebox. Definitely a nicer pick up then the other pairs we shoes you and you can get them now at RPS.
A couple of days ago along the Palmetto Expressway appeared thousands of shoes laid out on the side of the road. Nobody knows where they came from but it took several hours just to push all the sneakers to the side so that traffic could begin to move again. There was everything from women’s to men’s shoes and I wonder if their was anything actually worth picking up . Well dump trucks eventually took all the shoes to an empty field in Miami Dade County where non profit organizations distributed the shoes to the lest fortunate. Word is that the Nike Clogposites are set to be coming back sometime this year. I’m a big fan of the Nike Air Flightposites so these would definitely be nice for some around the house kicks but I wouldn’t be surprised if they start selling for just as much or slightly under Flightposite price. No price tag or release info yet but we will make sure to keep you posted.
We just showed you a huge line up of Stussy Products for the 2009 season and now here are tow more tee’s to add to the collection. These t-shirts where created around two classics which include Taxi Driver which featured Robert De Niro and Scarface with Al Pacino. Both actors heads are covered with either a skull or a moose’s head with famous quotes from the films. These will be dropping January 10th at Stussy retailers worldwide.
A couple of days ago we previewed with the Foamposite Lites which would be releasing in 2009. Well here is yet another colorway which was created for New Jersey Nets forward “Yi Jianlian PE”. These feature a silver upper with some navy blue as well as red on the laces and the Nike Swoosh. The Hyperdunks made their hit in 09, and we have already seen a few of these pop up and we are only 2 days into the new year so will the Foamposite Lights be the Hyperdunks of 09? Set to be releasing tomorrow are three pairs of Air Jordan 2.5’s. We previewed you with these a while back but this is just a reminder that if you want to pick them up they are releasing today. The three colorways included in this pack are a white, red, cement a stealth, maize,graphite, black and the final colorway is stealth, blue, light graphite, black and white. I’m feelin the white and cement pair and thinking that if this release sells out these will be the first to go. These will be available today when you wake up in the morning and are retailing for $130.
If your not a fan of pink on your kicks maybe Lime Green is more your style. These feature the same materials as the previous post but come in Hi Tops and instead of a pink Nike swoosh they used a very nice lime green. You can also pick these up now at Purchaze.
